One AI subscription instead of six: what the all-in-one workspaces actually include
Platforms that resell every frontier model for one monthly fee are having a moment. The maths is real, the savings claim is inflated, and the cheapest tier almost never includes the model you came for.
Paying for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney and a video generator separately adds up fast, and a category of product has grown up around that: one subscription that resells all of them. The pitch is compelling and the arithmetic mostly holds. Three things about it are worth knowing before you switch.
The savings figure is real, and inflated
These platforms like to show a comparison: one plan at around $40 a month against a stack of separate subscriptions totalling a thousand or more. PIAX, the one we checked in detail on 13 September 2026, puts that stack at $1,083 a month against its own $39.90.
Look at what is in the stack. The single largest line is ChatGPT at $200 a month — the Pro tier, not the $20 one almost everyone actually buys. Swap that one line for the plan a normal person has and the comparison loses nearly a fifth of its total immediately, before you take out the four or five services in the list you have never used.
The honest version of the comparison is still good. If you genuinely pay for three or four of these separately, one plan is cheaper. If you pay for ChatGPT and nothing else, it is not.
The tier trap
The pattern repeats across this category. The headline model list is the top plan's list. Always find the per-tier breakdown before choosing, and if a site does not publish one, treat that as the answer.
What you give up
- Rate limits and quotas are the platform's, not the vendor's, and are usually expressed in credits whose per-model cost varies.
- New model versions arrive when the reseller adds them, not on launch day.
- Vendor-specific features — projects, memory, custom instructions, the coding agents — generally do not come across. You get the model, not the product built around it.
- One account is one point of failure for every tool you have consolidated into it.
That last point is the one people underestimate. Consolidating six subscriptions into one also consolidates six outages into one.
Who this genuinely suits
- People who use image and video generation alongside chat — that is where separate subscriptions get expensive fastest.
- Anyone who wants to compare models on the same prompt without opening accounts everywhere.
- Occasional users of several tools, rather than heavy users of one.
And who it does not: anyone who lives in one vendor's ecosystem and uses the product rather than just the model. If your day is inside Claude Code or ChatGPT's project workspace, a reseller gives you the engine without the car.

Before you subscribe, check three things
- Which models your specific tier includes, not the ones on the landing page.
- Whether the discount is a real one. A flash-sale badge that is present on every visit is not a sale, and several platforms in this category run one permanently.
- How cancellation works, and who processes the payment. PIAX uses Paddle as merchant of record and cancellation is in the user centre; not every competitor is as clear.
