About the PDF to PNG

PNG keeps every edge exactly as rendered, which makes it the right image format for pages of text, charts, forms and line drawings. Choose the pages and resolution and download each page as a PNG, or all of them as a ZIP.

How to use it

  1. 1Drop in the PDF.
  2. 2Choose the pages and a resolution.
  3. 3Convert and download the PNG images.

Questions

Why are the PNG files large?

PNG is lossless, so it cannot throw detail away to save space. A page at 300 DPI is about 2,480 × 3,508 pixels. Use 150 DPI, or PDF to JPG, when size matters more than perfect edges.

Is the background transparent?

No. Pages are rendered on white, as they look in a PDF viewer, so text never ends up on a see-through background.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The PDF is opened and changed in this browser tab using pdf.js and pdf-lib, open-source libraries that run on your device. It never reaches KuponGuru's servers, and closing the tab discards it.
