About the VAT & Tax Calculator

Questions

How do I take VAT out of a price?

Divide by one plus the rate. For 15%, a price of 1,150 divided by 1.15 is 1,000 before tax, so the VAT in it is 150 — not 15% of 1,150, which would be 172.50.
