Questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. The link or text is stored in the code itself, not on our servers, so it works for as long as the link does. The catch is that it cannot be edited later — change the link and you need a new code.
Which error correction should I choose?
Medium suits most codes. Choose High if the code will be printed small, on a rough surface, or with a logo placed over it: it can still be read with about 30% of it damaged, at the cost of a denser code.
Why does my coloured QR code not scan?
Scanners need a dark code on a light background with strong contrast. Light codes on dark backgrounds, and pale colours, fail on many phones; the generator warns you when the contrast is too low.
Is my text uploaded or stored?
No. The tool runs in this browser tab. What you paste is never sent to KuponGuru, and it is gone when you close the tab.
