About the WebP Converter

How much smaller is WebP?

Google's own comparison found lossy WebP images 25–34% smaller than JPGs of equivalent quality. Your results depend on the image; each row shows the real before and after.

Will WebP images work everywhere?

Every current browser shows WebP. Some older desktop software and a few upload forms still expect JPG or PNG — keep the originals if you need those.

Are my images uploaded?

No. The images are processed in this browser tab, using WebAssembly builds of the same open-source encoders Google's Squoosh uses. They never reach KuponGuru's servers, and closing the tab discards them.
