About the WebP Converter

How much smaller is WebP?

Google's own comparison found lossy WebP images 25 to 34% smaller than JPGs of equivalent quality. Your results depend on the image; each row shows the real before and after.

Will WebP images work everywhere?

Every current browser shows WebP. Some older desktop software and a few upload forms still expect JPG or PNG, keep the originals if you need those.

Are my images uploaded?

No. The images are processed in this browser tab, using WebAssembly builds of the same open-source encoders Google's Squoosh uses. They never reach KuponGuru's servers, and closing the tab discards them.
